Here is a unique, relatively inexpensive and attractive alternative to expensive custom web sites and/or hosted blogs. If you have been wanting to get a site and are an artist or an arts-related business or organization, this may be just what you’ve been looking for!

We will set up a simple but effective web site for you with three areas: Home Page, Blog and Web Pages.  Many web sites and blogs require ongoing fees just to stay online but once you pay the class fee there is no additional cost to keep your web site online.  This is because we have chosen a service that is very easy to use and is absolutely free!

Then once your new site is online we will walk you through how to maintain and add to your new site using email and telephone.  You will learn:

* How to effectively use your web page and blog to gain exposure online
* Upload photos and place into blog posts and web pages
* Create links to other sites
* Publish web pages and blog entries
* How to organize your site
* How to allow multiple people to add content to the site
* How to view and interpret statistics

Because this workshop is given to individuals, we have limited slots available and provide this class on a first-come, first-served basis. This class requires that you have basic computer skills, online access with the ability to talk on the phone while online and the ability to upload photos to the internet.

This offer is restricted to art related web sites only and at the present time is limited to the state of Oregon. Our goal is to promote the arts and help those in the art community gain affordable exposure so please do not inquire for other types of sites.
