Learn to make and use hand made silicone molds and also make hearts from an exciting new art material called “resin clay”.
Heart # 1: This heart will be hand sculpted. We will add acrylic media and a crackle finish and wrap with wire to hang as a pendant.
Heart # 2: You will learn to pick and choose portions of a mold to add symmetrical and dimensional designs, add an embedded wire as a bale then paint and/or dye with inks. If you wish this heart can be distressed if you prefer a more grungy look.
Heart #3: Time permitting, we will create another heart with a window to place small objects such as watch gears and cover with resin.
Many of these techniques are easily transferred to other types of projects.
